Brighton’s Central Park: Summer Extravaganza Awaits

Brighton’s Central Park is set to be the ultimate summer destination, offering a dazzling array of free events for locals and visitors alike. Sponsored by Muller Rice, this pop-up venue has announced an exciting line-up that includes live screenings of Glastonbury Festival, the men’s Wimbledon Final, Formula 1, and outdoor cinema. Nestled in Valley Gardens against the picturesque backdrop of St Peter’s Church, Central Park promises an unforgettable experience from 14th June to 14th July.

The festivities kick off with the world-famous Glastonbury Festival, streamed live from Worthy Farm from 27th to 29th June. Music lovers can enjoy performances while sipping cocktails and munching on free tacos. Families are in for a treat on 29th June with The Kids’ Table, offering themed crafts, origami, temporary tattoos, and more from 12:30pm to 4pm.

Motorsport enthusiasts will be thrilled with the live screening of the British Grand Prix on 7th July. Grab a beer, relax, and watch the high-octane action unfold on the South Coast’s biggest outdoor screen. Tennis fans can look forward to the men’s Wimbledon Final on 14th July, a perfect opportunity to gather and cheer for their favourite players.

Central Park’s outdoor cinema is another highlight, featuring beloved classics like “Greece” on 29th June and the singalong version of “The Greatest Showman” on 7th July. With delicious food and drink from national and local vendors, it’s the perfect setting for a memorable movie night under the stars.

In addition to these free events, Central Park will host ticketed events like England games in Euro 24 and the Rhythm Of The 90’s live music event. With a capacity of 2000, this venue is quickly becoming Brighton’s go-to summer hangout.
