Collyer’s Dance Company Set to Dazzle at Hove’s Udance Event

In the heart of Hove, at the Old Market, a vibrant dance event unfolded. Collyer’s New Ground Dance Company, a beacon of local talent, was one of the eleven groups selected from over 50 academies, schools, and colleges to grace the stage at the Udance regional platform.

The Head of Dance at Collyer’s, Emma Gogan, was brimming with pride. She hailed the event as a “fantastic platform” that showcased a “diverse and talented array of dance performances from across the southeast.” The dancers, she said, represented the college impeccably. Their collaborative spirit and supportive nature towards other groups were a testament to their professionalism and camaraderie.

The New Ground Dance Company is part of Collyer’s highly regarded enrichment programme. Despite narrowly missing out on being selected for the national Udance event in Liverpool, the company’s performance was a triumph.

Emma Gogan couldn’t hide her admiration for the group. “They are so professional and really are an absolute credit to Collyer’s and the local area,” she said, expressing the pride of the dance department.

Collyer’s Deputy Principal, Steve Martell, echoed this sentiment. He lauded the dance programme and the New Ground Dance Company’s exploits on a regional stage. “These dancers and their teachers are brilliant. Dance at Collyer’s is breaking new ground!” he exclaimed.

Indeed, the New Ground Dance Company is not just breaking new ground; they are shaking up the dance scene in the southeast. Their performance at the Udance regional platform is a testament to their talent, dedication, and the vibrant dance culture at Collyer’s. The local community couldn’t be prouder.

Finding a mortgage

Buying a house is a massive investment and getting it just slightly wrong can be costly. Unless you have big savings, chances are you’re going to have to get a mortgage. It’s a loan secured against the property which means if you can’t meet the repayments the lender may repossess your home and sell it to get their money back.

The better you understand mortgages and everything to do with them, the better armed you will be to get the very best deal. With MMR in place, you’ll need to review your finances themselves before approaching possible lenders to see whether you can afford the monthly payments now and if interest rates go up, which they will…

What is MMR?

When it comes to finding a mortgage you have several options: mortgage brokers, individual banks or searching online. Again, it’s important to do your research. Searching online first, gives you a good idea of what’s available, but an independent mortgage broker can provide a more in-depth search and help you through the process. Being independent holds great value as they are not bias to any particular lenders or deals, they will give you their honest opinion and take away the stress of working your way through the mortgage market, they work for you to find you the best package to suit your requirements.
