Prepare to be dazzled as the Brighton Centre opens its doors to the award-winning spectacle, Cirque: The Greatest Show, on Saturday, 24th August. This unique production is where the magic of musical theatre meets the thrill of the circus.
Cirque is not just a show; it’s a journey into a world where West End and Broadway hits come alive amidst a whirlwind of colour. Watch in awe as breathtaking aerialists, incredible contortionists, and performers showcasing agility and flair take the stage. This variety spectacular is the talk of the town, promising an enchanting experience that is both charming and astonishing.
The brainchild of producer Max Fox, Cirque has evolved from a small-scale show pre-lockdown to a grand spectacle, thanks to a collaboration with James Taylor, director of Entertainers – one of the UK’s leading theatre production and promotion companies. After sell-out shows in 2023, Max Fox is back, bringing Cirque: The Greatest Show to the Brighton Centre, bigger and better than ever before.
Inspired by The Greatest Showman, Fox aimed to create a show that would captivate adults and children alike. “I wanted to create a concept where adults are just as engaged as the kids so that anybody can watch Cirque no matter what age and be thrilled by the experience,” Fox explained.
The family-friendly show follows a mime artist living in a black and white world. After winning a colour-screen television, he embarks on a quest for a life in colour. As the audience, you’ll step inside his screen, witnessing a parade of performances from your favourite West End and Broadway hits, accompanied by circus acts ranging from contortionists and aerialists to roller-skating acrobats, jugglers, and fire experts.
Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience. Doors open at 1:30 pm, with the show starting at 2:30 pm. Tickets start from ÂŁ26 and can be purchased from the Brighton Centre’s box office. Step into the light with Cirque and escape to a world of colour, music, and circus magic.
